Default Question amount of memory that Hotsync Manager uses

I've been noticing that Hotsync Manager starts off using a low amount of windows sytem memory, maybe around 30MB and the longer it is that I haven't restarted my computer or restarted Hotsync Manager, the more memory that it uses.
It was up to 140MB a little while ago.

I've noticed a couple of times where a Hotsync hangs and I have to end that process and I am thinking it is because of the amount of memory tied up.
It shouldn't make a difference since my computer has a gig of ram and it shows over 400MB still available in Task Manager.

What I have ended up doing is to restart Hotsync Manager at least once a day or sometimes before I start a Hotsync.

Has anyone else noticed this behavior and does anyone know why it just keeps tying up larger amounts of memory?

Yes, the hotsync manager has a memory hole that eats up available RAM from your PC. Some of us discussed this problem a few years ago. You can check this thread for details. Seems that it's "normal" for hotsync to grab more RAM and refuse to release it after evry sync operation.

I'm not sure if more recent version of Hotsync Manager have this problem, because I almost never do a hotsync. Maybe once a week is max. frequency, so I don't notice that problem anymore.
