Re: Palm TX Hints, Tricks and Suggestions Wanted ...
Wow, you guys are all depressing me-- how I'd love to go back. Kaua`i (especially the north shore) is one of my absolutely most favorite places on this planet. (The image behind my "agenda" in my Palm's calendar has always been that of the Kalalau Lookout.) Had my honeymoon there and have been back once since. I just love when Hawai'ians talk about going to ANOTHER island to take a vacation (hmm, I live in Paradise, let's go visit a different part of Paradise...)

You can get some really good airfare bargains now (except Thanksgiving and Christmas). Go for it!
I would rather surf the ocean than the net. Cowabunga!

Re: Palm TX Hints, Tricks and Suggestions Wanted ...
Am I getting this correctly? You need an expansion card to play mp3 files?
I've gone through the Rhapsody setup, hotsync, etc., but Rhapsody never sees the TX; searched Brighthand for answers, and the problem's discussed a lot but the solution doesn't seem to be in any of the threads (that I can see).
I did note that Quick Install Expansion Card area will accept mp3 files (slower, I know) and Palm area would not - leading me to believe that mp3s live on expansion cards.
Another Palm support page seemed to indicate that a hotsync after Rhapsody install was needed for Rhapsody to 'see' the TX, but it never does.
So I'm nui loa confused ... any suggestions/instruction would be appreciated !!
Mahalo !!

Try the PocketTunes User Guide. I don't use Rhapsody but I get the feeling it's happy with PTunes Deluxe. And, if you consider that a rule of thumb is 1 minute = 1MB, you will be happy with SD cards (2GB are well affordable these days).

Northglide's Uninstall Manager is the one we all use around these parts. To work most effectively it must be installed before any other third-party apps.

Just call me DT, everyone else does.
I have not tried OnGuard Backup as I can run NVBackup at a quick tap should I desire. Some say there is a delay writing incremental backups to card before launching next app with OnGuard. That said, I have been using the original NeatFreak Pack for some years and it is way handy to nab all them orphans and pesky buried preferences when you really want to get rid of an app or do some housecleaning.
