Palm TX (and T5!) External Microphones for Sale!

I plan on using this external microphone to record lectures in class. How well does the microphone work? Is the sound level and quality clear enough for this purpose?

I chatted on Aol IM tonight with a happy customer who recorded a 60 minute lecture on his TX with great results! He said it produced about a 15 meg file (on his SD card) and his battery life was at 85% when he left the classroom!

I got my mic the other day. Thank you Wyrenut as it works just great. I was actually very surprised with the quality of the recording and how well the playback sounded through that tiny little speaker on my TX.

Feedback? Yes, earphones/headphones are a necessity with all the Palm models, not just the TX with a mic mod. The proximity of the speaker to the mic precludes using it unless you mute the mic (in which case some calls you make - like to a movie theater showtime recording - will work this way!)
