Two Cool Apps for your TX
If your like me and have Adapted your TX with MySkin etc then theeses are two must have Apps:
IconPlus
The only Program that is not built into a launcher like ZL or SliverScreen, That lets you change the Icons including the built in Rom ones. It works really well on My TX.
Fast Hide
If your like me and dont use some of the built in Apps. into a floder named Rom well no need to do that now as Fast hide lets you decide which Apps inc Rom ones you wish to hide.
NO MORE CLUTTER OF APPS YOU DONT WANT JUST HIDE THEM!
Both of theese Apps can be found on www.palmgear.comPDA History
The 1st ever Psion (A Sliding Brick that you had to Program).
A 512 Mb Psion that my dad did not like after using it (too complicated lol) i hated it.
Palm llle my saviour My 1st Palm.

Is palmhide what you meant or was it really fasthide? With the compatability issues on the TX, you really have to be explicit about which program works for you. I did some more searching and found "fast hide" at palmgear. Somebody is selling the freeware fasthide as "fast hide" at palmgear.
Anyway, $14.95 for iconplus might be better than paying $20 or more for one of those launchers. Also, I bet it takes up less space. Now that I'm using a Treo 650 I am very reluctant to load anything internally. Of course, if you sent $9.95 to register that freeware fast hide you were ripped off because it is an open source project. From now on, I will check open source FIRST before I register any shareware.
Once again, thanks for pointing this out!
And, if this hasn't been said, Welcome to Brighthand, TxMan!
EDIT; Oops. On closer examination, it looks like the download from freshmeat is also shareware. This is not good. This would bring the total cost of these two apps to $25, or more than the cost of a full launcher program.-Jeff

Try looking for Obfuscate instead. Works on my T3, dunno about the TX.

Re: Two Cool Apps for your TX
I tried Obfuscate but Versamail and QuickTour don't show up on the list of apps to hide on my TX.

I use a free app called Application Panel. It will be integrated in Prefs. Just tap to gray out apps you don't want to display. It does work for Quick Tour and Versa Mail.
