    Default MyKbd full screen calibration.

    This is fantastic news.
The latest version of MyKbd 1.2, allows full screen calibration of the digitizer.

I have not checked if MySkin has the same function, but I bet it does.

Well done Alexander Pruss. This is a great addition to a lovely customisation of my TX.

It does indeed. Version 2.xx of mySkin corresponds to version 1.xx of myKbd. The two programs are identical except that myKbd includes support for hex keyboards and mySkin does not.

i registered myskin using paypal. there was no automatic reg code. i hope it comes soon as i have less than 3 days left. i tried the full screen calibration. very nice. whenever i notice drift while using the keyboard, i will run it again. now i need to edit one of the included dia skins to make the number keypad larger... i still make some mistakes entering phone numbers... sometimes i use atomik, but often i use velo. i wish velo's numeric keypad filled the graffiti area.

edit: got my reg code as a pdb file. all set! now to decide which kbd to use. so far it's a toss up between atomik and metropolis, but frequently i fall back to velo. i wonder if i can edit velo myself...

If you are successful let us know. I have had a look at the software from Alexander Pruss that enables editing, but I am not savvy enough to have a go at this.

I recommend ATOMIK. :-) You should probably try to practice for a bit of time with Fitaly Letris: in a pretty short time it raised my speed to about 10% short of what I can do with the Clie NX's thumbboard. And it's free, courtesy of Jean Ichbiah, the maker of Fitaly:

It's really not that hard to edit. Just use Notepad to modify SampleKeyboard.txt, double click on "go', and after choosing the input file (SampleKeyboard.txt) and output file, you're done.
