Pixi on Sprint SERO?
I called Sprint about possibly upgrading to the HTC Touch Pro 2. Since I'm on the SERO plan, I had to get transferred a couple of times before someone could work with me. The customer service rep I spoke with noted that the Pre would require a plan change for me (i.e., I'd have to give up SERO), but he said the Pixi wouldn't require a plan change. In other words, he said the Pixi would work with my plan.
Hmm....more to think about.

Re: Pixi on Sprint SERO?
Sprint's been doing everything it can to get people moved over to service plans where it makes money off them, so this is surprising.

Very interesting...
With that news, that opens the door to not being 'pushed' out of SERO due to no upgrade choices. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Re: Pixi on Sprint SERO?
Why doesn't SERO make money? Their costs per account cannot possibly be more than a few dollars a month. I have a SERO plan that costs me $30/month with 450 min talk time, unlimited txt, and unlimited data. My account has unlimited calling to 5 other numbers. My coworker has 4 phones on a family plan that offers nearly the same talk time, txt, data, plus other features on a standard Sprint plan. In fact, he has more talk time plus unlimited talk time to any mobile phone on any network. Each phone on his account costs slightly more per month than mine. Are you saying my individual SERO plan causes Sprint to lose money but my coworker's family plan earns Sprint money? Sorry, I don't believe it.
Where's your evidence that they're doing "everything it can" to move people away from SERO? Nearly every phone that Sprint offers is allowed on SERO. There are only 2 phones that are not allowed on SERO: Instinct and Pre. Sprint also paid me $70 to renew my SERO contract. If Sprint wanted to get rid of SERO, it would stop allowing new phones from using it and they could easily end the program once the contracts are over. This Signature Line Intentionally Left Blank

Re: Pixi on Sprint SERO?
because you can no longer get the cero plan or anything closer to it than what $70 or have they finally lowered it.
I am sick I didn't do it with my centro, but I literally heard of it the day I was going to att, and I didn't believe it was real at that price.
I wish some carrier would add a pay per use plan, of course I would want a wi fi phone, for itm but I might switch if someone did.
