    Default Rs232 serial support

Can someone tell me which PDAs support Rs232 serial (even if via 3rd party cable).

I have written some software for the T3 but my customer will not purchase the T3 as he says it is going (or gone) out of production. I need to find a replacement that can communicate using RS232 serial.

    Thanx
    TBlue.

Of those Handhelds still claimed to be available on PalmOne's Web site:
    • Those that use the so-called Universal Connector, the T3 and the C. (I do not remember what the Zire 72 uses. The Zire 71 also used the Universal connector).
    • Tose that use the new Multi Connector, the T5 and Treo 650, with the use an adaptor cable. However, note, the multi-connector does not provide any of the RS-232 flow control lines, only RX, TX, and GND.

the 72 uses a mini USB 5 pin connector and an AC jack, just like the T|E, and the rest of the zire line (save the 71)
