Is it possible to Sync my Palm with Lightning (PIM for Mozilla Thunderbird)
Title pretty much says it all. I know that supposedly the palm can sync with Thunderbird's address book. Or with all of Outlook. But I haven't found anything that suggests the Palm (I have a Tungsten T3) can sync with Lightning's calendar and tasks. I'm just trying to consolidate how many organizational apps I have running on my desktop and am not particularly found of Outlook or some of the limitations of Palm Desktop.
Does anyone have any knowledge of this?

Re: Is it possible to Sync my Palm with Lightning (PIM for Mozilla Thunderbird)
I wish there was a conduit available that would do that. Unless you can create such a conduit, the "normal" conduit won't automagically detect Lightning and make a direct sync connection. You can try to Google a solution, but I don't think one exists.
What I do in Linux, is sync my Zire 31 with Jpilot, then export from Jpilot in an Ical format. Sounds like you are running Windows, so that option is out.
EDIT: Just found an interesting link at Mozilla on this subject:

I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here.

The only method i have read is syncing your palm to google calender and then syncing from google calendar to lightning, with some quarks. Hopefully someone will come up with a better solution but it's something you can look into.

If you're running Linux, it's easy to sync to Evolution, including calendar, contacts, tasks, etc. I don't use Thunderbird, but I think it can import Evolution data, which would be a kludge but maybe possible. I prefer Evolution by a wide margin, even though I keep installing Thunderbird every now and then to see if it's better. It just doesn't have all the features of Evolution, which is very much Outlook for Linux.
