Charging time

I just got my axim, and I started charging it at 6:00 PM eastern, its now 9 pm eastern. It hasnt been the four hours, but the light at the top of the axim is now lit. Also, I am having a ton of trouble getting the backup battery cover back on. It just wont seem to go on. PLease help with both of these! Is it safe to use my axim yet? The light at the top is green.

It's been three hours, and the light is green, so I'd say it's safe to use, but if you use it before the full recommended time you run the risk of permanently decreasing the amount of time you can use your battery on a single charge in the future.

To reinsert the backup battery cover, put the gray tabs under the little lip beside the black tab, push the cover down and in with your thumb, and it should pop into place. Hope that helps.
