Re: Amazon is making a good case for the new Kindle 3G
What really galls me is when the ebook bestsellers cost MORE than the discounted hardcover price (which happens increasingly).
Beyond just ebooks, I think the whole oversight on price-fixing has gone out the window. It used to be that electronics could be discounted, now most manufacturers hold a hard line on prices. Look at common items like PS3's, Wiis, HD TV's, XBox 360's, Apple products (this goes way back), etc.

Re: Amazon is making a good case for the new Kindle 3G
They're really pushing the Kindle hard now with network TV adverts.
I've got my reservations about buying too many ebooks (but free ones are fine) but I may have to reconsider. I've got too many books stuffed all over my house, most of which I will never read again. The wife goes through a considerable number of mysteries as well. The space savings alone begin to look worthwhile.
