Netbooks under 500 bucks?

Guess that came off with more snark than intended. I was shooting for something more like a melancholic tone, with a genuine recognition that the example you offered does present usable features for a portion of users. Just not to my tastes. As for overall mobile device representation, it doesn't really carry HP very far, especially when Samsung and many others are offering devices of similar design, alongside slide-out QWERTY phones, large-screen phones with high definition, and a host of other variants. HP comes off looking like a small fish in a big, well-stocked pond in this case. The small fish is colourful enough and has a charming personality, but gets rather lost in the crowd. Not complaining about this phone. Just the overall HP lack of presence.

The Hp Slate, Apple iPad 1, many notebooks of Samsung all are under 500 and are doing well in the market. You can go for any of them.
