Default No Sound when playing .3g2 video files from phone

howdy, not sure where this question should be posted...

anyway, the only media player on my PC that would play the videos (from my centro) at all is VLC player, except it doesn't play the audio of those files.

has anybody else had this issue, and if so, how should i resolve it?
is there a special codec i should look for online to fix this?

    thanks!

You're supposed to be able to play these with Quicktime, but you're not the first person to have problems with this.

Here's a page that gives links to freeware apps for convering the files to AVI:

The files do open with Quicktime on my Windows XP machine.
So long, and thanks for all the fish.
