Default MPX 200 reset and ringtones

does anyone also know how to do a reset? Does taking the battery off reset it? Does powering of reset it? How can you download ringtones off the mmode. I've tried different things, but they don't seem to work.

    RESET

If you mean soft reset, then get yourself an app called quick reset. a Hard reset OTOH would reflash the device, you need to hold down the action (blue) button while powering ON the device, then you will be prompted YES/NO to reset, once you press YES, it will erase the flash & reload, takes seemingly a long time as compared to other PPC devices so be patient, and make sure you're on AC or have good battery. (I would also remove any SD/MMC cards for safe measure)

You'll then have to reload the apps & game from the companion CD.

Can find QuickReset & other good stuff here

I don't think you can download ringtones for this device from MMode. But you can use WAV ringtones!! I just converted some mp3 files to wav, then cut them to 30 second files by using Windows Sound Recorder (found in accessories), and then using Windows Sound Recorder changing the format to 44.1 kHz, 8-bit, mono (which sounds really good on the phone) and it only takes up around 1 meg of data on the phone. Just save it to ISPM\Application Data\Sounds and you will be able to access the file.

I look under accessories and I don't have any sound recorder. Where can I get the software to convert MP3 to wav.

Sorry, it's under entertainment, not accessories. Search google for mp3 to wav conversion software (I used trial software and to continue to use it will cost $20, so i will have to look into prices of software later).
