    Angry Beam

    I HAVE A PALM 515 MY WIFE HAS A 130 CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY WE CANNOT BEAM FROM ONE TO THE OTHER BEAM IS TURNED ON ALL WE GET IS A MESSAGE " SEARCHING "

    Thats weird. If beam recieve is turned on the handhelds, then they should beam to each other. They are ocmpatible. What kind of software or file are you trying to beam?

    Try soft resetting one unit at a time between attempts. Possible that one unit's IR comm registers are scrambled or just out of sorts.

    As Masterchief indicated they are both compatable. Also, beam receive can be off on the sending unit.

    Have read post in m100 forum of the m130s IR ports giving this effect, try it first, would be my guess, if I was to make have one.

    If soft reset, does not work, then you may need to perform a hard reset, just make sure you hotsync before completing this reset as it erases all on Palm.

    had to do hard reset 3x but seems to work fine now thanks alot for help
