Connectivity
Can someone tell me about their experience using the Connectivity Kit for a Palm 515. I'm not sure I know what the kit does exactly. I assume you still need to connect to a land line or use a cell phone for the dial up?

I don't have one, but it is a landline modem. You have to connect to a phone jack.

Its a modem and software to connect to a phone jack.
It should be a simple plug & play, but it took me time to figure it all out. You subscribe to an internet server and then put in all the data and then you can connect to email, and do webclipping. The batteries only last a couple hours, so I thought there was something wrong with the modem. I had run the batteries out just trying to get it to work the first time.
I couldn't connect to my company's internet system because of a t1 line between them and my desk.
I'm going to try leave my heavy laptop home when I travel - and then it will be worth it, I hope.
