sync m515 with Windows 7 64 bit
I am trying to sync m515 with Windows 7 (64 bit) via a USB cradle. On another forum I have seen suggestions of downloading Windows XP virtual mode and obtaining other software. I am un techie enough that I need simple directions. Help!!!!

About your only choice is to get an IR pod for your computer. There are no USB drivers for Windows 64 bit, any version.

Google (ASUS) Nexus 7, wifi+data (AT&T), Android 4.2.2, stock and un-rooted (so far
)
LG Nexus 4: AT&T (Gophone), Android 4.4.2, stock and unrooted-- and probably staying that way.

If you have Windows 7 Pro, Enterprise, or Ultimate, you should be able to download XP Mode for free. I'm not sure if you can have VPC associate a USB port with XP Mode without having drivers for it, although it's worth a shot. Even if you can't, you can at least use the much better PD 4.x and just associate an IR port (as mentioned by Hook) with XP Mode.
Palm Desktop 4.x and older was never designed to run on 64-bit and most 64-bit OSes don't support 32-bit drivers.Past and current devices: Palm m505 (Sold) > Palm Zire 71 (nonfunctional working) > Tapwave Zodiac 1 (nonfunctional) > Palm Tungsten T5 (nonfunctional tenatively functioning) + SE w300i + 2GB SanDisk SD + Cheap $5 keyboard (that works…)(sold) > Cingular 8125 (retired) + 2GB MicroSD in adapter > Nokia N800 + 4GB SDHC + 8125's 2GB MicroSD in adapter + Palm M505

You may find the post on the same subject for Desktop 6.2 (and a Z22) helpful.
