best input device?
I am getting more and more disenchanted with Graffiti. And the on-screen keyboard takes a tap to turn on and a tap to turn off and then you have to keep tapping on and off to see what you are doing - so it is not much better.
I am interested in getting Fitaly stamp, silkyboard II - or something similar.
But there are thumbboards and keyboards for about the same price. And maybe getting the Palm ppk keyboard is worth the money ($80 on Amazon).
Maybe a fitaly stamp and a keyboard gives one options for note taking and writing that novel?
Anyone have THE TRUTH about keyboards and keyboard alternatives? Thanks!

Well, the difference is that the proper keyboards are best for data entry but not as portable. They fold up small, but you need a table to use them.
Free business idea: someone make a thumboard with a PS2 socket so you can plug a regular PC keyboard into it.(The Shadow) has none of Doc (Savage)\'s desire to reform criminals. He stops the criminals\' careers by puttlng huge holes in them from his two .45 automatics.

I do OK with Graffiti, but I just got a Thumboard. It was a toss up as to entry speed at first (I guess it's my big thumbs) but it is getting better. I based my choice on the fact that I don't always have a flat surface for the foldouts.

I prefer Palm's full sized, folding keyboard... nice feel. Grafitti on my m505 seems to be much worse than my old IIIxe... the 505 seems to misinterpret every other character... which p*sses me off frequently... maybe that won't be the case with the enhanced 505 they are supposed to be sending me sometime during this millennium.

I always managed well with my Psion 5MX. That is a great keyboard, but a lot of the time you end up using it as a thumboard when you pull it out to make a quick note etc.
Alas, the 5 was just a fraction too big. Now I have a M500 I carry it day in day out.(The Shadow) has none of Doc (Savage)\'s desire to reform criminals. He stops the criminals\' careers by puttlng huge holes in them from his two .45 automatics.
