m130 Sync fail
I am having persitent problems with Syncing. I have attached the log from my last HotSync session......

Note Pad conduit cannot synchronize with the Note Pad database on the Handheld, because the version of the database on the Handheld does not match that expected by the Note Pad conduit.

Conduit 'Note Pad' Error: Unknown error. (FFFF)
OK Acrobat Reader
OK Documents To Go

How do I fix the synchronization failures? I have tried changing the conduit settings. I dont understand the Expected Note Pad Conduit. That problem is minor, however, what is the system fail? Also, I cannot synch my MemoPad. I have items on the handheld that do not make it to the desktop. I also, cannot find the files from Documents To Go on my PC. GRRRR

What version of Palm Desktop do you have loaded on your PC? You can check the version of Palm Desktop from the Help > About Palm Desktop.
Are you looking for new files which where created on Palm? Check the 'My Documents' folder.I also, cannot find the files from Documents To Go on my PC

I am using Palm Desktop 4.01 on Windows XP Home.
I have checked the My Documents folder. I have even done a search for the filename, with no luck!

Looking at this page makes it sound like Palm Desktop 4.1 is really the version of Palm Desktop you should be using with Windows XP.
You can download a free copy of Palm Desktop 4.1 for Windows XP here .
When you click on the HotSync icon and then choose Custom, do you see the Documents to Go conduit listed in the HotSync Manger? If not, try reinstalling Documents to Go on both the desktop and the handheld.
