Default (HINTS) Some Hints from multima

Here's some hints for old and new Palm owners alike:
    • First of all, get the book How to do Everything with your Palm Handheld. The title doesn't lie. (It's good for whether you just bought one, haven't decided yet, or even have one already - the last one is where I am.)
    • Try out SilkyBoard. It's a great keyboard that you stick over the Graffiti area - demo shows an alert every four program swaps.
    • Want SimCity for Palm (esp. m130 owners)? Try out Pocket City, a free alternative.
    • Feel free to send me a PM (but no e-mail) if you need help with something...
    • Want an alarm clock? BigClock, available from PalmGear.com, is loud, annoying, and a great timekeeper!
    • Phoinix is THE greatest GameBoy emulator. I LOVE playing Pokemon and Pac Man on my m125. I use my HUGE 64 MB card - JUST BE CAREFUL WITH SILKYBOARD. IF IT ALERTS YOU WHILE YOU'RE PLAYING A GAME, YOU LOSE YOUR PLACE AND GO TO THE MAIN MENU. Of course, Palm's a great portable game library... and really inexpensive, too. (If Liberty was just FREE...)
    • ALWAYS keep old demos around... I've never bought any Palm software, all I do is use demos and freeware. I use my 64MB SanDisk card to store a lot of them in a folder called "trial apps".
    • iSilo is a cool document reader. I keep e-books, DOC files, and reviews from Pen Computing's Palm section on mine.

I'll post more if I see at least 10 other people saying they want more...

Oh yeah, and if I see anyone saying something bad about the m125 (eg, "I hate m125, yes I do..." I won't post any more until they send me a PM apologizing. I'm not joking. )

(The "HINTS" is so that I can find it more easily and update it...)

    Thumbs up

Good stuff, Multima. I think this type of post is what this board is for -- to help out everyone and inspire new ideas. Keep 'em coming.

    Thumbs up Good Info

    Hi!

Thanks for the very useful info.

Regarding SilkyBoard...I am a little confused by their product lists...does any of their models work on the M-125 or M-130?

    Thanks!

SilkyBoard Junior II is compatible with the m1xx series.

Why don't you all try MessageEase ST, available from ExIdeas?

    Default I hate m125, yes I do!

Sorry folks. I actually really like my m125 but I've never been one to be told what to do!
