i was just wondering, if i have the palm pilot m130 can i use AIM on it, or is AIM not compatible

You have to either buy a modem for it, or hook it up to a data-enabled wireless phone.

You need a cellphone with a cable running to the phone & out the bottom of the PDA . If you don't want that, get an i705, or a PPC with a 56k modem/WiFi card.
If you are using a WiFi card, type "ANY" (without the quotes and in all capitol letters) in the connection box or something.
