    Default Keyboards

I've decided that I'm gonna purchase a m130, but there are a few things I'd like to get with it. One of these are a 32mb SD card and a keyboard. I was thinking about the 'thumb' type keyboard. After some searching I haven't been able to find one. Could some one point me to where I can? Also, are screen protectors and a case a must?

    check out the following sites.

    www.tt-tec.com www.targus.com www.kensington.com

my favorite thumbboard is by seiko www.seiko-austin.com and its called the thumboard.

for a cheap screen protector buy a sheet of overhead plastic and cut it to fit. Remove the face plate and measure the width, and height, leave about 3mm top and bottom and it will fit under the body.

Case logic makes a very nice leather case, with room for a full size stylus and cards etc. I've droped mine a few times and it's been fine in that case.

www.caselogic.com mine is the PLT2 strongman pda case

    hope this helps

I notice that the ThumBoard comes in a version for the m500 and then one for the m505/m515. Which one is appropriate for the m125 or m130?

    Thanks,
    Bill

I'm not sure which one works for the 130, the seiko thumboard I enquired about from staples was for the 125/130 . I tried the one for the 515 and was told that the 130 thumbpad would be out soon. I'm still waiting on it myself.

The other links were posted FYI.

Since the m125 and m130 have the Palm universal connector, it uses the same accessories as the 500 series, not those for an m100 or m105. However, I'm puzzled by the distinction (n the case of the ThumBoard) of a 500 vs. a 505/515 accessory; hence, my question above.

the guy at staples said the only difference was the shape of the bottom of the unit. He figured that the reason the ones for the 500 series came out first is because most people who use them are power users and more likely to upgrade, where most 100 series owners usualy do so for the cost factor and are less likely to upgrade.

I don't agree, If I save money I'm more likely to spend on upgrades.

So does anyone know the answer to the question: Where can I get a thumb KB for the m130?

I believe your first responder, garpoonga, has already answered this question.
