Email Via Outlook Express to M125
I'm having the same problem getting Outlook Express email to sync with my new M125. The Palm site suggested installing Jibe from chapura.com but as best I can tell that only syncs contact lists and email addresses not Email. Any thoughts???

It should be working... check your mail setup from Windows
Start > Programs > Palm Desktop > Mail Setup
If you can't get it working, can you advise any error messages and the contents of the HotSync log (click on the HotSync Manager Icon > View Log)
Cheers

Email Via Outlook Express to M125
I've checked the mail setup on the Palm Desktop and it is set to Outlook Express. When I go through the steps to change it and reset it to Outlook Express I get the following Mail Setup informational message:
MailSetup ? Your selected HotSync action for mail is currently set to Do Nothing. To change this setting, click on the HotSync Manager icon located in the window?s system tray, select Custom, highlight Mail ans select Change. Make sure to select the Set as Default option after selecting a HotSync action if you want that setting to be the ongoing action.
When I check the Hotsync Manager the mail option is set to syncronize the files and is the default. Below is the Log File:
HotSync operation started 12/28/01 01:04:27
-- Mail
- Failed while trying to log on to the Desktop Mail System. Please check your Palm Mail settings. Launch Mail Setup through the Windows Start menu on your desktop. Select Programs, Palm Desktop program group, and choose the Mail Setup icon.
OK Mail with 1 message(s)
OK Date Book
OK Address Book
OK To Do List
OK Memo Pad
OK Note Pad
OK System
HotSync operation complete 12/28/01 01:04:30[SIZE=3]
I had old versions of Pocket Mirror installed on my desktop from a Palm Vx I use for work. Any chance I should purge everything and start the install from the beginning??

Pocket Mirror 3 and Palm Desktop 4 have sometimes resulted in a missing Mail Conduit... I suppose it could also lead to a misconfigured Mail Conduit.
I would suggest you download and reinstall the lastest Palm Desktop from the website.

'Email Via Outlook Express To M125
I was able to get my M125 and Outlook Express to talk to each other by uninstalling pocket Mirror and Outlook 2000. Now the problem is that when I sync to Outlook Express the only email folders that sync to the M125 are the "Local" folders in Outlook Express. The additional accounts that I have defined in Outlook Express to sync with my Hotmail account do not sync with the palm. How do I get to sync with the Hotmail folder rather that the "Local" folder?
Is it possible to do what I'm trying to do. That is, have Outlook Express with a defined account to sync with my Hotmail account, then have that Outlook Express folder sync with my Palm M125???

No, it's not possible to synch the HotMail folder. There's a PQA available to let you do it on a Palm VII or with an Internet connection, but not via the desktop.
I've tried! If anybody discovers a way to do it, I'll be very interested.
