Ummm.....did I just blow 8 bucks??
After fixing many of the problems that were causing my LD to reset, I was finally feeling confident in my device. I wanted to buy a launcher so I decided to look around and see what everyone else was using and how well it worked with the LifeDrive.
I felt confident in buying then loading up iSpin. Nothing has been right since. After 6 soft resets, I thought it might be best to come here looking (again) for some insight. I understood that iSpin was a stable program for the LD, was I wrong??
When running a program from the iSpin launcher (verrrry slow loading) everything seems fine....until I try and exit and go back to the "desktop". It resets itself everytime.....with every program.
Anyone have any thoughts or tips for my problem?
Thanks,.

Did you really pay for it without even trying the demo?
I would not recommend that in the future. I personally would've chosen a more established product like ZLauncher - but I guess that does cost more. Maybe just the built-in launcher is better for people with limited funds.
Anyway, have you tried iSpin support?

if u read the posts which u prob didn't, there is a problem with some programs using the pop up taskbar, disable it and u should prob be fine.
I use the free version on my zire 31 and also notice that its a fairly new program, ver. 2.0 should be coming out soon, u should of waited.

Hi,
I originally tried (and purchased) Win Launcher -- but had way too many problems with resets.
I'm currently using a purchased copy of facer - and my resets have dramatically been reduced. One would think by my 11th handheld I would get it right!

Actually, I did get it right with the LD, but Palm got it wrong!

I am new to not only the LD, but also the entire market. (The only other "PDA" I had was a 2 mb casio without Handwriting Recognition!). What exactly is a "Launcher"?

Welcome to Brighthand, 05Edge.
The 'launcher' is your 'home' screen on your palm. Just another way of saying 'desktop', really. Third-party ones add more functionality and customisation than the standard built-in launcher.
