I just read over at 1rsc forum that in certain random LifeDrive retail bundles, they are offering an additional CD that contains programs that I think really should have been bundled to begin with if the LD were supposed to live up to its MM moniker.

pTunes Deluxe
Pocket DVD Lite
MMplayer Lite

Granted, many already have full versions of these programs, but to receive them...well, by chance...really irks me (especially the pTunes Deluxe).

I usually don't get too worked up over these things, but I guess I was irked enough to actually send an email to PalmOne requesting that they provide all LD users with the same applications. We all know what the response will likely be, but if others would like to do likewise, perhaps PalmOne will realize that it goofed on this particular promotion.

I'll post the results of my email to PalmOne.

I got it! On a CD taped to the box :-).

Anyway for pTunes you're not missing anything for now since the EQ settings are not working well with the LD.

I'll make another thread on that matter very soon :-). They're working on every problems the LD has with MP3 playback.

Was the CD taped to the inside of the box? I assume it would be. Otherwise, I might just go and see if my local Staples has one with the CD.

I was hoping to see how well the LD streams audio from a shoutcast at some point, something I can't do with pTunes Lite. Plus, it doesn't seem to want to load any of my .ogg files, despite trying what others have recommended.

I did too and thats what they said, but someone else said otherwise. Plus, there's a code on the CD sleeve, whats it for?--I think I'll ask P1 that.
