Sorry Z... couldn't resist... By the way, even as an ipaq owner I still lust for the form factor of the Jornada's, so I gotta gree with ya' in that respect!

Although we have been informed that the Jornada range will not continue - I believe that this information will NOT be widely publicized until the Jornadas currently with etailers/retailers and HP inventory in the supply chain are sold.

It seems to me with the price points having been reduced somewhat, that HP can anticipate strong sales through the early summer.

A more serious decrease in Jornada pricing may come then, exacerbated (or encouraged) by the new model PPC's which will then be available.

Just a quick check at ebay shows that no-one is giving these away yet.

Curiously, I was talking to a Compaq employee the other day about the iPaq and the merger and he was under the impression that the new Jornadas that have been produced will still be released this year.

That obviously goes against everything we've read, but it was interesting.
