Shadow in upper left corner
Hi,
I have a 567 #sg1414XXXX and notice that the upper left corner of the screen is really dark at all but direct on angles. ( viewing it at a 45 degree angle, there is a shadow over much of the top of the screen.) I am also noticing white dust on the inside of the screen. Is this normal? To what extent is replacement a viable option? I am tempted to return unit to dell and try a different brand of PPC as it sounds like there are not many happy HP'rs out there.
So I know that others have dust, but what about the dark corner / shadow issue? Do all units have this problem?
Thanks..

Please see this thread
I know it's not too informative but a few other people seem to share your problem and think it's normal. However, I don't seem to have this problem. Suggest going to some brick and mortar stores where you can check out the demo units and see if they also have that problem.

Do most people really have this problem? It would drive me nuts.

Shadow
I see it there but it doesn't bother me. If you look at the sidelight you can see it doesn't go all the way to the top. You really have to tilt it away from you to get any noticeable shadow and it really only covers up the windows symbol, which is a good thing. What I don't like is the very light shadow at the bottom which gives a white screen a light beige color(like in Reader). All of these devices have their quirks and drawbacks.
