    OH HA HA HAAAA!

Let me see buy and ipaq that collects more dust than a hover, screen image flickers when slightly shaken, looks awful, full of bugs.......JUST SO WE CAN PLAY QUAKE AND DOOM ON IT AT SLOW PACE???

I'll stick to my trusty jornada that's built for bashng (well sort of), looks solid, perfect screen and works all the time...

sorry, had to get that off my chest. Why play games like quake and doom that run badly and eat memory like anything when you can just buy metalion or pow wow which were built for the pocket pc.

I don't even play Quake on my desktop anymore. The neatest thing I have on my Pocket PC is Pocket DOS. ;-)

Hey, I've been using an HP the last few days and it is usable outdoors, not great, but usable. But you still can't beat the Casio screen indoors, that thing is awesome!

yea, i come from the 486 era and i thought pocket dos was a must. very glad i purchesed it. interestingly enough i saw where casio sells a dos based pocket pc for something like a two grand...choke... but i think its ruggedized. http://www.casio.com/personalpcs/product.cfm?section=145&product=1980&display=10&cid= 2431

think id rather buy the program :-)

I thought this post was kind of funny....
This IS why I would upgrade to a StrongArm cpu based Jornada if one came out, though I love my 548 with CF built in unlike other systems. Sigh, got to choose one or the other, folks. Each has pluses and minuses. (OK, I WAS pissed at first... BUT it's still a funny post, yuk, yuk - imagine all the red faces)
