Skyscape on Rx3715
Hi guys. I just bought an rx3715 with 2gb sd card. Im a doctor and i needed to install skyscape programs on it. But whenever i try installing it, it fails. I tried copying the Setup cab file to the storage card but it never installs the program to the storage memory and im left with almost zero memory. Im not a very advanced user or anything so i'll appreciate all the help i can get from you experts!

Re: Skyscape on Rx3715
Hopefully someone else will chime in here but I think that the operating system on that device automatically installs the cab files directly to the device and not the sd card, which you are experiencing. In later versions of the os, the device gave you a choice of where to install it (It did in WM6 anyway).
There is a program called "CabInstl" The link below is just one place you can get it. I used it on my Axim X5. It allows you to install the cab file program to your SD (or other specificed directory. After you install this program on your device, you go to the CabInstall program in your programs area. from that program itself you search for the cab file that you moved to your SD card and you select it (This is the cab file that you want to install, in your case, the one from skyscape)
Then there is another button called 'Path" in which you pull up like a file explorer type feel and you basically choose the path or folder where the cab file will install. In your case, it will be directed to the SD card.
I would recommend keeping the check box checked that says 'do not delete cab file (see the screenshot in the email).
Click the install button and your program should install.
I apologize in advance if I wrote this too confusing. I think this is one possible solution to your problem. Like I said, maybe someone else can chime in here with some other info.
