    Default No Flight Mode?

I had to hard-reset my 4705 and no I no longer have the flight mode option when I click the WiFi button on the taskbar. I have tried a couple soft-resets as well as cycling Wifi and bluetooth on and off. Does anyone know how to get this back?

Before I hard reset, when I clicked the wifi icon on the taskbar, it gave me the following options: hide, settings, turn flight mode on/off. This was in the bubble, not in the ipaq wireless program.

    BTW, using ROM 1.10

I don't have any Flight Mode options when I tap my Connection icon on the Start bar, just Hide and Options. I just scanned through the built-in iPAQ Wireless help file and I don't see Flight Mode mentioned. I'm also running ROM v.1.10.

Weird. I know it was there before because it was so much easier to turn WiFi on/off with it rather than going to the ipaq wireless program.

I have flight mode and know what you are talking about. I'm also using ROM 1.10.

Don't know why yours should be missing though.

I've noticed that it is not there if you have done a restart and wi-fi has not been on since the restart, but it shows up once you turn on wi-fi.

Same here. I'd try another hard reset.

The fly mode dissapeared from my machine when I upgraded to the new ROM, 1.10.O8. I am sure it was there with the original ROM, I used it a lot.

However, there is a pretty good plugin which works better, as you need one tap only to turn on/off the wi-fi radio, this is TodayWarrior

The plugin has many other things in addition to the wi-fi option and it works very well with the hx4700...
