Default hx2410: Can i use EVDO via bluetooth on my treo 700p?

    Hi all,

Here is my question. Work just gave me a hx2410, love the wifi etc...I am also a Sprint user and have the treo 700p. Any ideas on how to link the two to share either the wifi to the treo or the EVDO to the ipaq?

In my testing and trials it seems that the bluetooth in the treo is the problem, any suggestion? I even tried IR without success...

    much appreciated,

    Dan

Default Re: hx2410: Can i use EVDO via bluetooth on my treo 700p?

UPDATE: thanks to Ed Hardy I was able to find the missing pieces in my theory and connect the ipaq to the DUN on my Treo 700p. I do pay the extra for PAM (phone as Modem), which seemed to be the biggest hold up for most.

I stopped trying to make the treo allow the connection, and just created a bluetooth generic dial-up modem on the ipaq.

Now my goal would be to use the Wifi on the Hx2410 to make a serial bridge to the treo via bluetooth. I have tried this several ways on the treo. It is able to create a connection for the pass thru but no data will flow? any ideas? is it because i have a secure network? I am going to try using the motorola pc850 usb bluetooth adapter to see if i can get to the internet that way...then try the ipaq. As soon as motorola sends me the software (which you can't download..)

    Dan
