hp foldable keyboard and new 2790?
I had an hp foldable keyboard (model G750) that I used with my Ipaq 3955, and have just upgraded to the Ipaq 2790. It fits the new keyboard, but it does not seem to work. Are there drivers that will allow the keyboard to work, or do I need to purchase a new keyboard?

To answer my own question if anyone is interested. I tried loading the hp drivers and the keyboard seems to work fine. The only issue I have found is that when you soft reset the ipaq, you need to click the foldable keyboard launch icon again to run it. I have now tried putting a shortcut of that icon in the startup folder. I think that might work.
Also, the unit must be weighted a little differently, because it tips back a little more than the 3955 (which is actually a little heavier overall, so perhaps it is the distribution of the weight.)

Funny, putting the program icon in startup does not seem to work when the machine soft resets, but if I manually click the icon to run it after I soft reset the ipaq, the keyboard works fine.

probably because it's happening too soon after reset before relevant hardware has had time to init...there are other things that have this issue as well.Originally posted by Tachy

Somebody fixed it with a delay, but can't remember how.
