Greetings,

The Bluetooth transceiver on my iPAQ 5455 (PPC 2003) won't turn on.

When I tap the BT icon in Wireless Control Center, I hear the turn-on tones, but the little blue LED does not blink, and 5455 is not detected by other BT devices. If I tap the icon again, I hear the turn-off tones.

If I try to directly launch any of the PPC2003 BT applications from the Windows folder, such as BTConnManagerCE.EXE, I get a pop-up, saying "xxxxxxx is not a valid Pocket PC application."

I have soft-reset the handheld several times. I have pulled the battery, poked the reset switch a half-dozen times, and reinstalled the battery.

Any suggestions, anyone?
