SD-Card Power Drain
Hi
As I bough myself a shiny 256MB Lexar I asked myself if the SD-Card drains power if not used. So can I leave it in the device for some days or should I pull it out if I don't need it. If it drains power while not in use how much does it affect the battery life of the Ipaq.
Thanks for your insights.

If it drains power it is very low, so don't worry about it. I'm sure everyone (including me) always leave their storage cards in the slot (I put mine in after buying the unit and have yet to take it out).

Thanks for the quick advice. Then it will stay where it is - in the device.

There is no current draw from SD cards,
unless your device is on and the card is
being read/written to/from.
