I have not tried this particular brand .. but I have tried ? extensively ? the Nokia Card Phone 2 and the Compaq GSM / GPRS sleeve and I would say that these devices are nothing more than fancy geek toys! They are most impractical and cause endless amount of issues with the iPaqs!

Not worth the money, time nor the effort.

My apologies if my reply sounds negative, that is not my intention ?. all I am trying to do is give some feedback on my experience with trying to get my iPaq double as a mobile ?phone, something that failed all the time!

How well does the Aircard 555 perform as a phone/modem? I've seen it in action on a laptop using Verizon at 144kbs. I know that's a number that's only achieved during ideal conditions, but it was clearly faster than dialup. Any thoughts?
