Can someone help with an External GPS Hookup to my 3835?!?!
Hi there,
Well I have decided to get an External GPS, most likely the GARMIN MAP76. The reason being that I want something I can also use while camping, rafting, etc and I would not want to take my non-watrerproof, fragile, non-rugged Ipaq into the woods while hiking in the rain or rafting.
So my question is HOW do I connect that Garmin to my Ipaq and would
I still use Destinator or some software like that? I am making sure that I am choosing a GPS that is WAAS compatible.
Can anyone help?
Is the Antenna in those handheld ones good enough in a car without an external antenna, if they even make one for it.....
I tried Garmin's site, but they dont talk about pda's from what I found.
Thanks In Advance,
Thanos

"GeorgeCo" makes a cable that will connect your GPS to your iPAQ. I have purchased an eTrex->3800 cable from them and it works perfectly as advertised.
