Help for Today Items

I added 4 images in the settings window for 'Checked items appear on the Today screen' as I was experimenting with diff. layouts. I can't get rid of these items. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

what ipaq are u using? have u tried to do a soft reset and reset them? what kind of images are u talking about???? give some more info and maybe i can assist. marti

Thanks for the response. I am using an iPaq3835. If you goto Start/Settings/Today/Items you get the window which has the check boxes for the items that appear on the Today screen like Date,Tasks,Inbox etc. One of those items is Image which allows you to include bitmaps on your Today screen. One of the options within image allows you to create additional image boxes for inclusion in the Today page. I created three additional image options and now I can't get rid of the dam things. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Where did you put the images?

If they are in the windows directory go to that directory and delete the files.

If you created a separte directory for the images delete that directory.

Also I suspect that if you look at the first page of todat there is a small check box saying " use this picture as the background" make sure that box is unchecked......

The box is un checked.
I did not create any images for these items I just created the 'Items' in Today settings that would allow me to insert images. It is these 'items' that I can't seem to get rid of. Since the Today settings only seems to allow a limited number of items in the window these 'image items' are clogging up the space I could use for other addons.

How did you create the menu item in the first place?

Can you see this menu item when you go to explorer?

Xerxers your question gave me the answer. I had used one of Microsoft Powertoys to create the item. I removed the program and the items were automatically deleted. Thanks for helping me XERsize (very bad pun) my problem

Must also restate that this really is the value of Boards.

I really didn't know what the answer, believe me I am no guru or anything remotley similar, but I really enjoy my IPAQ and am continually learning as well, was but in a couple of postings the problem was resolved.
