CDMA wireless solutions
It seems all the really cool phones are GSM. What options are available for the CDMA network that would allow me to connect my iPaq to the internet?Jimmie Malone

Sprint PCS and ATT wireless, Verizon too. I think VoiceStream is going with a GPRS solution.
I used to have a GSM Ericcson T28 though Cingular, but because of 15 cents a minute for web time, and bad coverage for non-GSM roaming, I went with Sprint.
So now I've got Wireless web free for 3 months (just mention it, and they have to give it to you) and $5 a month after that. 4000 minutes a month for talking and surfing. I connect my iPaq to my Samsung n200 with the Supplynet cable: http://www.thesupplynet.com./searchR...=&mySearch=mfg
I use Karl's Compression server to ease the 14.4 connection speed up a bit. Pretty nice until something faster comes out.
before...iPaq 3650, Toshiba e740, iPaq 2215
now...iPaq hx2415, 1GB SD and that's all I need...

I recently connected my Nokia 5165 on the (AT&T plan) to a King of Hearts card. The 56K v90 + Cellflex for Nokia package MFG Part#RP14551-NOK1.
The down side is: it is PCCard sized and can only connect at 9600 speeds on the ATT system.
The upside is, you can connect to the internet or your work anywhere you can get Cell Service

I'm actually selling Sprint's Wireless Web modem. It's a PC card that is considered a cell phone at Sprint, meaning you can use any cell phone plan for it. It's a neater solution than carry cables to connect to a cell.
The PC card retails for $249...I have it in an opened box but it is unused, asking $110 shipped for it.

I forgot to mention that you would get the first 3 months of Sprint Wireless Web service free (meaning you don't have to pay the extra $5 month)
