Will 3600 series outperform 3800 series?
The main and only reason why I purchased my first 3650 was because how speedy the OS was. I'm still amazed how quickly it performs with all the junk I have stored. My only fear is that the new 3800 series iPaq will be slower because all the new hardware changes. It already has too much on its plate. Bluetooth, 16 bit screen, SD/MMC slot and so on.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to purchase a 3870. But not until I find out that all these new additional features are not going to slow the thing down.
Question. Would you still buy it if it performed slower than the current 3600 series?
What do you guys think?Mo

I've actually read that with the current 12 bit screen the internal graphics process renders it in 16 bit and then has to spend processing cycles downsampling it for the 12 bit screen.
