There was another dialer that let you dial within the standard contact list - whereas dial-a-matic gives you a different interface although accessed from the contact list. One less button click (not a big deal really). Does anyone know what software that was? I forgot.

PhoneTone
Hi,
We have PhoneTone (at http://www.iliumsoft.com/phonetone.htm). It's not a free program, but I don't think dial-a-matic is either. The latest version of PhoneTone gives you a choice of dialing right from Contacts or using PhoneTone's Contacts screen. There's a 30-day free trial too.
