Due to a job change and windows NT, I need to get a serial cable.

There's no point waiting 2 weeks and paying $10 for shipping if a local store carries ipaq serial cables.

Do circuit city, best buys, compusa carry these cables?

thanks for the tip. they have the serial cradles at a compusa nearby. but, they don't have the serial cable. I prefer the cable over the cradle.

You can check whether something's in stock at your local Compusa buy searching on their web site... just go about like you're going to find it and buy it online, and then you'll see a link for "Check" ... enter your zip and you're golden.

In my experience, this is relatively accurate.

BTW... is it me, or did CompUSA get a clue all of the sudden? I'm finding their stores well stocked with relevant stuff, and their sales staff even knows what it is!

    The iCuz i700 Repair Guide:

-- 1) You need to turn the phone off before you remove any programs!
-- 2) The "Lock" for buttons is well hidden in the "Power" control panel.
-- 3) To automatically log into Verizon voicemail... enter *86pp#XXXX# (where XXXX is your password) under the Tools, Options menu of the phone. (Add extra p if two pauses is not enough.)
-- 4) So far, EBcases, TuffasNutz, Rhinoskin, Verizon, and Vaja all make cases for the i700.
-- 5) Still no word on whether the Targus IR keyboard supports the i700.

    ... more to come!

I think I'm just going to order the serial cable from amazon. I need to get a cable from them for my samsung phone anyway.
