You have to use the autosync utility to transfer files from yr desktop to yr CF card. Click on mobile explorer and use the copy and paste instructions.

If your computer has a pcmcia slot then you can get a PC-card adapter (cheap) and directly move files between the cf-card and your desktop (faster than activesync).

You have to use programs/file explorer/my documents. Clicking on my device should show u "storage card". All you need to do is copy or cut the doc and when u get to storage card use the edit function to paste it there.

I ran into a problem coping Word docs directly to the CF card from the desktop and later trying to open them within Pocket PC. It open the files, but took awhile to open and close because the file was a Word doc not a pocket PC doc. Once I transfer them through "My Device" to the CF Card they open/closed fast.
