I just got my Ipaq and am configuring the user information. I'm about to hook up the USB during the Active Sync install, but am wondering if I can change the "System Name" of my Ipaq. Right now, it just says "Pocket PC". Is this really just the operating system name, or is this a way of "naming" my Ipaq?

If it is a way of naming my Ipaq, I figured I needed to do this before setting up the active sync.

    Stan,

How did you change the name? I went into assetview, but that all seemed read only.

    Thanks.

    Thumbs up

Thanks! As my username suggests, I've gone from knowing tons about unix and windows, to knowing absolutely nothing about this new handheld marvel. I'm learning quick though.
