Does anyone know of an ipod style MP3 player for Pocket PC?
I have a 3150 with a PCMCIA expansion sleeve and Toshiba 5GB PCMCIA HD. I recently went on vacation and filled the HD with music files to listen to. I used WMP and also tried out a couple of MP3 player demos, but had a difficult time reading the small text on the B/W screen.
I was looking at an ipod one day at CompUSA and really liked the simplistic interface that Apple used. I thought that someone would have already found a way to impliment this on a Pocket PC, using both the touchscreen and the buttons to navigate. I've looked high and low but cannot find anything like this.
Has anyone seem anything like this?
Thanks,
Charles

Thanks for the info. I've seen this one before, though. I'm actually looking for something that is mostly text based. For me the B/W screen isn't a good environment for the graphics used in most of the mp3 apps. They are geared for a color screen, not B/W.
Thanks again,
Charles

For Windows Media Player, try these:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...et/custom.aspx
I use the Tech Red version for it's big buttons and readable title window because I don't need a stylus to control the music. I also map my buttons to WMP so I can control play with the d-pad and 1-4 buttons.
The Classical Music skin may also work for you since it's black and white.
You can also write your own skins.
Alternatively, GSPlayer 1.85a is a full screen MP3 player that is also very skinnable and may have what you need.
Good luck!

In all good players you can map the buttons.
I hope this help.

I used powder blue skin on WMP, but I hated the look of it. (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...et/custom.aspx)
The only reason I chose it is because the time/track/title display larger than on any other skin.
If someone has found a skin w/ a large display that looks better, let me know.
