of course this then enpted out all the memory. etc.
I now have a problem getting tom tom 3 re installed. do I need to istall TT2 and the use my upgrade tp TT3. it is just hanging every time I try and launch it
I have also noticed the my "IPAQ file store is now empty and it used to be about 50% full.

Not familiar with TT3 but in general you have to reinstall everything from scratch when you update the ROM. There may be a specific incompatability with the ROM update and this version. If so, maybe the developer can help you. Most SW that had problems was updated when the ROM was updated.
As you have discovered, the update wipes out the file store. Nothing to do except reinstall.
Hope this helps.

I don't use TT either, however if your TT3 is only an upgrade you will most likely need to reload TT2 if it was a full application. Most upgrades only contain the files that have been changed that apply to the upgrade. It keeps the amount of data to be uploaded smaller.Local User Group: http://www.vancouverpocketpc.com/
