Moved to Palm .....

got fed up with softreseting, alarm failure & hot sync failures (wrote more on General Discussion Thread)

i brought my Palm Tungsten T3 last monday and the palm experience gets better and better.

In the past i didnt consider palm because in my eyes it was seen as an inferior product...black and white, small memory .... i had a bad opinion of them - just a long standing judgement. Thats all changed now.

The T3 is excellent.
Fantastic screen
*** no soft resetting 3+ times aday
*** instant ON....no waiting for it to boot or settle.
*** multi alarms work without fail everytime (i set loads!)
*** hotsync works without fail (so far)
program size means you get more on the 53mb memory

i genuinely cant think of anything bad..... maybe a temporary SD Card Frying problem alot of people have experienced but as yet i havent experienced it.

im just very glad i gave palm a try.

Im not saying Palm is the best for everyone, but it is the best for me right now with the choices available ... though i doubt id move back to ppc unless there is something very significant that makes me. I prefer the no hassles operating system... but im still learning....

Something nice about starting over.....trying to get good freeware and streamlining usage to what you really need in terms of buying programs...im trialing lots of software and im not going to make the mistake of buying early, gonna wait until trial is over and ive tried all available... feels nice starting with a clean slate

Anyway, i just wanted to conclude this thread.
