Default what is this option for?

I am not at home right now and won't be for another 4-5 hours (meaning: don't have access to a headphone), so, I'm curious to know what this option (in the screenshot below) is for. I'm talking about the Treble and Bass thing. Is it just for sound recording or is it for headphone playback?

    Thanks.

    Punk:

What a find. Maybe I missed something, but I didn't find this until your post - try the Super Bass - it really improves audio.

    Thanks

Can thread title's be changed? This one's crying for "Try Super Bass for Audio" - maybe everyone else in PPC land knows this option exists, but as a recent Palm convert, it's a great find.

Man, now I cannot wait till I go home and try it with my headphone. The funny thing is, I always saw that User Audio Tone for Earphone, but, never checked it to find the two hidden options until today.

Well done again, punk!!!! I'm a recent PocketPC convert and wasn't aware of the function!

The bass sounds so much better than that provided by GSPlayer!

First, u found the dBpowerAMP, then this... hey, wat other treasures are you going to uncover next???

Holy s**t!!! Try this if you guys use GSPlayer:

    1. Enable Super Bass from the control panel mentioned above.
    2. Put treble to 3/4.
    3. Use Surround option is GSPlayer.
    4. Don't use 3D or Bass in GSPlayer.

That sounded just awesome to me. But, then again, that could be just me. Also, songs are encoded at 48kbps ogg.

Now, I've got to get a 256MB SD.

It's sort of like built in equalizer.
