    ONe of the few things I tried was that. I always look for something different on every PDA that I've owned.

    Didn't older iPAQs have an option like this (equalizer), or was that just via third-party software?

    yeah... i believe every iPaq since the 3800 has had this function (treble and bass for sure... don't know about the super bass)

    I thought there was a software to do so that was only compatible with iPAQs in the past. By this, I'm saying that it was not built-in, but, a third-party software provided this. I may be wrong though.

    I think you're right. I wasn't sure, but this sounds right.
