    Default My Benchmark!

I just thought I would run VOBenchmark on my 1910 and see how much different the results would be when ran at 100Mhz, 200Mhz, and 300Mhz using TurboTray.

Personally, I have been using my 1910 at 100Mhz all day today. It has been more than enough for me. Saves battery life too.

I accidentally deleted the image....please look at the seventh post below!

I'm kinda dumb...but what do the numbers mean...like "seconds" or a different unit? Thanks.

Those numbers are values produced by the program for each category at different speeds.

Numbes are calculated by drawing graphics on the screen, writing text, reading from storage card, writing to storage card, etc.

I just ran a test on 400Mhz and the numbers were very low. I think they were lower than what was gotten on 100Mhz.....wonder why?

i dont know, but i saw some toshiba e740 benchmarks at 300Mhz, and they were all better than at 400mhz

then i just said in my mind "wtf". soi think i know whats the point... the fsb in the different clock frecuencies is different. at 400Mhz the fsb is lower than at 200Mhz (maybe 66Mhz bus?) the idea is there... i just know you should try the 333Mhz frecuency and benchmark it, i know it is a lot faster than 300Mhz in the ipaq1910...

I am not sure about the toshiba but on the HP @ 400, the reason why they went down is because the chip was not designed for that. Intel made 2 chips. 300 and 400 MHz chips. HP is an underlocked 300 chip.

Look at the 100 and 200 results. Look that those figures. Holy cow. If my thinking is right, at 100, the battery should last twice as long.

Oops..I accidentally deleted the image above. Anyway, here's a new one. This one includes the benchmark at 333Mhz frequency. Screen became a little darker, but, that's it...everything else ran smooth. Man, this mode sure is FAST!

Btw, I'm now using TurboTray 333.
