    Default Transfer Contacts

What is the best way to transfer contacts from the Palm T/X (Palm Desktop) to Microsoft Outlook to sync with the iTouch? Any suggestions appreciated.

it's bad enough that you're falling under the general guidelines of spammer, but giving out incorrect advice just compounds things.

I haven't done this, so I'm not certain if the TX supplies the info to Outlook upon syncing (I tend to think it does), or if there is an 'interaction' between Palm Desktop and Outlook; I do know there is a Hotsync option to allow you to determine where info from the TX goes, PD or Outlook.

someone more knowledgeable will be along to give you a definitive answer.

Yes, if your contacts are up to date on the TX, the best way would be to switch the TX to syncing with Outlook. I know you can make that choice br reinstalling Palm Desktop, but I believe there is a shortcut installed with the desktop on the TX's CD that would be available in the Start Programs menu on your computer. Since I always used Outlook and not Palm Desktop, I never had to make the switch, but it should work. Then just sync what's on the TX to Outlook.

Before doing anything, make a full backup to your SD card on your TX, just in case. I recommend the free NVBackup, which you'll find a link for on the TX help page listed below.

LG Nexus 4: AT&T (Gophone), Android 4.4.2, stock and unrooted-- and probably staying that way.

    Yup - Palm > Outlook > iPT

I did the same - used outlook as my default date & contact
