If the restore doesnt work, then I will go talk to my friendly neighborhood genius next week. (They literally are neighborhood, I work next door to a mall with an Apple store.)
From what I can understand, a restore should correct any software problems. If anything weird like this happens again, I'll uninstall my 3rd party apps and treat it like any other unstable smartphone, and try to determine the cause of the instability. I don't know that the genius at apple could do anything better, plus who knows if I could recreate a bug for them at will.
As of now it seems to be behaving (crosses fingers) so I just have to get through tonight and get home to restore it...

Update: Just restored it, it seems a wee bit snappier so far, though it's hard to say right now. We'll see how the next few days goes...

Well mine does it once in a while, but this is when im running a lot of programs, or if I get a call and text at the same time.
but i would freak out if it told me to restart my phone
